At the beginning of the week, almost the whole ETRE-FORT team got together for the ETRE-FORT teammeeting. A lot has been going on and we wanted to discuss as a team where we want to go in the future.
For the Community
It has been all about the future of ETRE-FORT. So, in the ETRE-FORT teammeeting we started by looking back what has been happening over the last years and if that is also the way to go forward. We talked about Felix’ and Rogers original idea for ETRE-FORT: Building a brand that is able to make a change in the Parkour community, to support and give back to people who like to move.
So the questions came up: Are we doing that enough? Are we doing it the right way? How can we do more? What needs to change?
A mission on the ETRE-FORT teammeeting
We spent the whole day discussing what everyone’s goals for ETRE-FORT are and how we can make them happen. Just to give you an idea of the flow we got into, here are a few ideas we came up with:
– a workshop tour
– regional jams, visiting local Parkour communities
– weekly local challenges
– building a youngster team
– personally delivered ETRE-FORT gear by athletes
– “Leave your comfort zone” for selected Parkour people
and of course so many more… but what always kept coming through on all ideas, was that we want to share the message of “be strong” – no matter what we do, we want to do it in a way we can support others and take care of each other. Our vision is aligned right there with the Parkour quotes “être fort pour être utile” and “être et durer”.
Next for us is to see, which ideas we actually want to go forward with. So stay tuned for what’s to come!
Of course, if you have any ideas, let us know! We love to hear what everyone has to say – just drop us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org
On the second day
we decided to go and explore the outside just was we were exploring ideas inside our heads on the first day. We went to Zermatt to see the famous Swiss Matterhorn and of course check out all the little corners of the beautiful village. Have a look below on what we discovered – and if you are ever in Zermatt, go look for those spots and share your experience with us!
… and there we are, looking almost like regular tourists 🙂
